a very hungry caterpillar birthday

You know how one idea turns it to another....
that’s what led Natalie and Tucker to having a very hungry caterpillar birthday.
Not only as a very hungry caterpillar a great book it also is a great theme for a birthday party!
Since our house is small we kept the celebration small with a couple friends and some yummy food and some super cute decorations :)

Adirondack Phantoms

Last Friday (January 28th, 2011) Russ and Judd went to see the Adirondack Phantoms play Charlotte Crunch at the Civic Center. This was Judson's first hockey game. Judd was very excited for the game but surprised to see how aggressive hockey players can be. They had a great time!

Then on Saturday Salem celebrated Winterfest with a fundraiser for the Salem/Shushan Oil Fund. All 5 of us enjoyed a delicious pancake breakfast. (Pancakes are our favorite!) While the babies stayed warm at Grams we took Judson sliding and ice skating at SAW. Judd caught onto ice skating quickly so we will defiantly have to go again! It was a very fun winter weekend. More winter on it's way too, we are expecting up to 30 inches of snow over the next couple days and it has already started. Hope we get a snow day tomorrow!!!
